Job summary

Ganymede Solutions in the UK is seeking a hands‑on Cyber Security Lead to own the security workstream on a live MOD project. This senior contractor role requires deep expertise across threat modelling, risk assessments and security architecture, with delivery accountability from requirements through to implementation and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering cyber security and assurance on MOD/Defence or regulated industrial environments.
• Proficiency in threat modelling, risk assessment and security requirements engineering.
• Strong knowledge of OT/ICS security (PLC, HMI, SCADA) and safety/availability interplay.
• Ability to produce customer-facing security documentation and guidance.

Responsibilities

• Identify vulnerabilities and develop risk assessment, threat model and security architecture.
• Advise engineering teams on security controls across IT, OT, and ICS environments.
• Review system architecture, network design, access management and logging.
• Produce customer-facing documentation and support MOD stakeholder engagement.
