Job summary

Elliptic is seeking a CTF Subject Matter Expert to lead investigations into cryptoasset use by terrorist actors. You will validate exposure, improve workflows, and translate findings into actionable intelligence for clients and partners.

You will work across jurisdictions, integrate new entities into the dataset, and present insights in client briefings, with a focus on global risk reduction and stronger CTF controls.

Qualifications

• Experience in intelligence, threat analysis or financial crime, including illicit or terrorist financing.
• Senior or highly autonomous role with independent judgment.
• Understanding cryptoassets, blockchain analysis and on-chain tracing.
• Evidence-based intelligence reporting for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to use Python/SQL or AI-assisted querying to extract data.

Responsibilities

• Lead CTF-focused research into cryptoasset activity linked to terrorist networks and financing typologies.
• Build evolving CTF trend pictures and ensure comprehensive coverage.
• Collaborate across jurisdictions and align outputs with legal definitions and customer obligations.
• Represent Elliptic’s CTF capabilities in client briefings and industry forums.
