Job summary

Chainalysis is seeking a senior Iran intelligence analyst to own attribution end-to-end, from actor definitions to on-chain evidence and sanctions responses. You will map networks, generate finished intelligence, and represent the company to external partners and conferences.

You’ll work with a global team of analysts, SMEs, data scientists, and engineers, bringing deep Iran expertise, blockchain forensics experience, and proactive automation to scale analyses.

Qualifications

• Deep, demonstrable Iran expertise and threat-finance knowledge.
• On-chain tracing experience targeting Iranian entities.
• National-security, sanctions, or investigations background.
• Regional fluency; Farsi or Arabic a plus.
• Elite potential with strong writing and communication.
• AI-forward mindset and automation experience.
• Familiarity with blockchain forensics.
• 5+ years analytic or threat-finance experience for a Senior hire.

Responsibilities

• Own Iran attribution end to end across entities and infrastructure.
• Lead attribution response to Iran-related sanctions events.
• Map on-chain networks of Iranian actors across exchanges and mixers.
• Produce finished intelligence for briefs and reports to customers.
• Represent Chainalysis externally as Iran-domain expert.
• Help set Iran collection agenda and direct data needs.
