Job summary

Pennine Care NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a substantive Consultant Psychiatrist for the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team in Stockport. Qualifications

• Possession of a medical degree and full GMC registration.
• Entry into Specialist Register; higher psychiatric training or equivalent.
• MRCPsych or equivalent qualification; CCT in general adult psychiatry or near.
• Section 12(2) approval or eligibility for approval under Mental Health Act 1983.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality mental health care for adults with crises treated at home or discharge from inpatient services.
• Collaborate with teams and consultants to ensure coherent, high-quality care in Stockport.
• Attend service development meetings and contribute to teaching of staff.
• Be on GMC Specialist Register or within six months of CCT award; participate in on-call rota.
