Leeds (Hybrid Policy – 3 days a week in the office)

A global bank is looking to expand its Credit Risk strategy team by hiring a new Lead Analyst to enhance existing policies and identify new development opportunities. In this role, you will collaborate with senior management to support the bank's growth and learn from talented professionals.

The Role

  • Designing acquisition strategies and setting risk appetite
  • Maintaining and monitoring existing credit card strategies
  • Collaborating with the underwriting team to assess customer eligibility
  • Engaging with senior stakeholders, building consensus, and negotiating strategy proposals

Your Skills and Experience

  • Experience in Credit Risk strategy, particularly with unsecured portfolios
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Numerical or analytical degree/qualification
  • Proficiency in SAS, SQL, VBA, or Python
