TeacherActive is seeking a confident Cover Supervisor for a mainstream secondary school in Stoke. The role demands strong behaviour and classroom management, with the ability to confidently take control of challenging classes and deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects.

The position is a long-term placement offering daily rates between £110 and £150, supported by a dedicated consultant team, CPD opportunities, and a referral scheme.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with young people, ideally within a secondary school setting.
• Excellent classroom management skills and the confidence to take control of challenging classes.
• Proven ability to manage misbehaviour firmly, calmly and consistently.
• Confidence implementing and following school behaviour and discipline policies.
• The resilience and strength of character required to maintain clear boundaries and high expectations.
• Confidence delivering pre-planned lessons across a range of secondary subjects.
