Job summary

MASS is seeking a Principal Countermeasure Development Engineer for our St. Neots operations. You will lead a team of engineers, design and extend the CounterWorX tool, and deliver countermeasure models and simulations for defence customers.

You'll oversee technical work, mentor junior engineers, and collaborate with the software development and assurance teams to ensure releases meet stringent security standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RF/EOIR countermeasures across multiple domains.
• Understanding of radar theory and modes of operation.
• Experience in line management.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of engineers developing models and adding features to CounterWorX.
• Oversee technical work for all team members and mentor junior engineers.
• Collaborate with software development and assurance teams to deliver releases.
• Support career development across the EWOS group.
