KBR supports the hydrocarbon and government services markets on six continents, offering challenging assignments on some of the world's largest and most complex projects.

We are seeking a Lead Control Systems Engineer for a 10-month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.

Purpose of the Role

Assist in designing process control systems based on DCS, ESD, and FGS systems.

Skills / Experience

• Experience in the detailed engineering phase of projects, particularly handling packages
• Contribute to the development of I&C design deliverables, including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Data Sheets
• Assist in designing process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA
• Collaborate with client counterparts and vendors to interface control systems and new packages
• Support risk assessments such as SIL, LOPA, and HAZOP
• Prepare technical requisitions and conduct bid evaluations
• Develop Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) and demonstrate knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511
• Create I/O lists, Instrumentation lists, and specify instrumentation and control elements
• Interface with Electrical systems and MCC
• Experience in Brownfield onshore projects
• Experience working with multiple centers
• Preference for candidates with experience in Middle Eastern projects
