Job summary

Adams & Remers in Lewes, with London presence, seeks a Contentious Trusts and Probate Solicitor to lead the Contentious Trusts and Probate team within the Dispute Resolution group.

You will manage a varied caseload from instruction to resolution, advising trustees, executors and charities, and appear in negotiations and court proceedings. Strong client care and collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified solicitor with extensive experience in Contentious Trusts and Probate.
• STEP and/or ACTAPS qualification, or working towards, would be advantageous.
• Strong client focus and commitment to client care.
• Excellent time management and ability to prioritise workloads.
• Attention to detail and clear communication.
• Collaborative and self-motivated, with adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload from instruction to resolution.
• Providing expert advice to trustees, executors, private banks, individuals and charities in contentious trust, will and estate matters.
• Representing clients in negotiations and court proceedings.
• Maintaining effective client communication and managing expectations.
• Supporting business development, networking and client relationship management.
• Ensuring compliance with firm procedures and risk management.
• Collaborating with colleagues to identify cross-referral opportunities.
