Job summary

Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in Preston is seeking a Consultant Gynaecologist to join the Obstetrics and Gynaecology department. The post is full-time with participation in on-call and hot week rotas.

A passion for Gynaecological care is essential and the candidate will contribute to governance and teaching. The successful appointee will engage in clinics, PMB, hysteroscopy, and two week wait referrals, with a broad role across benign gynae services and high-risk

Qualifications

• Full GMC Registration and Licence to Practice.
• MBBS or equivalent qualification realized in entry to Specialist Register.
• ATSM in Gynaecological surgery or equivalent fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Provide daytime gynaecology clinics including PMB, hysteroscopy and two week wait referrals.
• Participate in gynaecology hot week rotas and operating theatre sessions.
• Support governance, teaching and development of the department.
• Be job planned to support teaching and governance activities.
