Job summary

Cardiff and Vale University Health Board is recruiting a Consultant in Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology at the University Dental Hospital, Cardiff. You will lead a high-volume diagnostic imaging service in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and cutting-edge CBCT, ultrasound and salivary gland imaging facilities.

Qualifications

• Must hold General Dental Council registration.
• On Specialist Register for Dental and Maxillofacial Radiology or CCST due within 6 months of interview.
• Experience in diagnostic ultrasound, CBCT and sialography is essential.
• Active engagement in education and research is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialist opinion on conventional radiographs.
• Issue radiology reports for CBCT imaging.
• Lead and develop the imaging service and educational activities.
