Job summary

One Health Group is seeking a Consultant Anaesthetist to join the One Health Elective Surgery Hub North Lincolnshire. The role involves delivering high-quality anaesthetic care for NHS patients, with focus on perioperative management and collaborative multidisciplinary teamwork.

The post offers a full-time permanent contract, with salary in line with NHS Consultant pay scales and eligibility for NHS Pension and CPD support.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration and Specialist Register status in Anaesthesia.
• 12 months+ experience as a substantive or locum NHS Consultant.
• Proven experience within NHS and/or independent practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality anaesthetic care for elective surgical patients.
• Undertake pre-operative assessment, optimisation and perioperative management.
• Support post-operative recovery and pain management.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams for safe patient care.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and comply with governance requirements.
• Contribute to service development, audit and quality improvement activities.
• Support appraisal, revalidation and a culture of clinical excellence.
