Job summary

Streamline Search Ltd. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead delivery of complex projects from pre-construction through to completion.

You will take ownership, coordinating clients, consultants, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure safety, commercial viability and high standards. The role requires strong main-contracting/building background across refurbishment, industrial, manufacturing, stadiums, leisure or other technically complex environments.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager within construction.
• Strong main-contracting/building experience.
• Experience managing subcontractors and supply chains.
• Strong programme and procurement management skills.
• Good commercial awareness and understanding of project costs.
• Ability to read and understand construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong client and stakeholder management skills.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Good understanding of health & safety and quality requirements.
• Relevant construction qualifications preferred.
• SMSTS or similar construction management qualifications advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Take overall responsibility for the successful delivery of allocated projects.
• Manage projects from pre-construction and procurement through to completion and handover.
• Develop and manage project programmes, ensuring key milestones and deadlines are achieved.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, consultants and site teams.
• Manage procurement, subcontractor packages and material requirements.
• Monitor project progress, costs, quality and programme performance.
• Work closely with the commercial team to maintain financial control.
• Manage variations, changes and contractual requirements.
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities.
• Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and client requirements.
• Maintain strong communication with clients and provide regular project updates.
• Coordinate design information and resolve technical issues where required.
• Ensure health & safety and quality requirements are maintained throughout delivery.
• Lead project meetings and coordinate actions through to completion.
• Manage snagging, commissioning and handover.
