Job summary

Bimplus is recruiting an experienced Construction Planner to join a leading contractor delivering major UK projects. You will build and manage programmes directly from federated BIM models, coordinating with PMs, engineers and site teams to reflect real installation methods.

The role emphasizes front-line planning ownership, with clear progression into Senior Planner and Planning Manager roles. Applicants should have a strong planning background, be proficient in Primavera P6/Asta Powerproject,

Qualifications

Experience as Planner/Senior Planner/Planning Engineer in construction.
Ability to build programmes from BIM models, not only update schedules.
Experience on large-scale, technically complex projects (£50m+).

Responsibilities

Developing and managing construction programmes informed by federated BIM models.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers and site teams to align logic with installation methods.
Coordinate MEP/CSA sequences and interfaces for buildable programmes.
Identify risks and clashes early and drive mitigation.
Track progress on site and produce accurate reports to support delivery.
