Job summary

Leonardo S.p.A. is seeking a Lead Configuration and Change Manager in the UK to oversee a growing portfolio of defence programmes within EW and FCA lines of business.

You will lead the CM team, ensure robust governance, and manage configuration baselines across hardware, firmware, and software from concept to in-service support. You will drive CM planning, implementation, and audits while coordinating with IPTs and senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading configuration and change control in defence or regulated environments.
• Strong ability to define and report KPIs to senior leadership.
• Experience working with classified/export-controlled information.
• Knowledge of PLM/CM tools such as Windchill, Teamcenter, or Dimensions.

Responsibilities

• Identify, agree, and control Configuration Items aligned with programme requirements.
• Approve and oversee CM plans, baselines, updates, and change plans.
• Ensure compliance with Five Pillars of CM and aerospace standards.
• Define and control CIs, baselines, and relationships in PLM systems.
• Lead CPB/CIA processes to ensure structured change governance.
