Lead Community Host - St Ambrose College - Altrincham, Greater Manchester

Job Purpose

To lead by example by providing guidance, support, and motivation to Community Hosts, along with welcoming Hirers into the schools' facilities, ensuring all facilities are opened and set up on time for each group to enjoy their visits.

Report to: Regional Operations Manager

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver a world-class experience for our community hirers, ensuring all customers receive a positive and memorable experience.
  2. Support the Regional Operations Manager with onsite training of new starters.
  3. Lead a team to complete training modules, enhancing understanding and knowledge of roles, such as manual handling, safeguarding, and fire safety.
  4. Drive consistency and standards of health and safety checks throughout shifts, maintaining high standards of the school, ground, and environment.
  5. Undertake light cleaning duties to ensure the school's premises are left as found.
  6. Unlock and lock the school, ensuring site security and safety.
  7. Manage shifts and rotas in the short and long term.
  8. Behave positively within a team, especially when shifts need to be covered at short notice.
  9. Conduct unannounced audits at various sites.
  10. Travel between different sites and cover shifts as needed.
  11. Perform other duties to support the school and team as required.
