Where will you be working?
At M Group Telecom, we're enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in delivering our tech-enabled future. We provide full network cycle services for fixed, private, and mobile operators. We find the best technology, manage assets, refresh systems, and operate 24/7 network operations to ensure smooth functioning, including comprehensive repair and maintenance.
What will you be doing?
Reporting to the Field Manager, you will lead installation works, commissioning, and complete all site documentation. This involves traveling to sites and working away from home, installing and commissioning SDH, MPLS-TP, and DWDM equipment to enable a nationwide network refresh. You will collaborate with project engineers and ensure delivery for the client and the company, working with the Senior Authorised Person on site to follow safety protocols. When issues arise, you will resolve them with support from SMEs, TDAs, and 3rd line support.
What you'll bring?
Proven experience as a field or senior engineer in telecoms, working on large-scale projects. Knowledge of SDH and DWDM, with experience commissioning SDH, PDH, DWDM, and IP systems. Leadership skills, organizational and communication skills, and high computer competency are required. Ability to attain SC Clearance. Experience with Hitachi/ABB XMC/FOX, Adtran DWDM, and working in substation environments. Certifications such as Cisco CCNA/CompTIA Network+, NEBOSH, and NG Competent Persons are essential.
