Job description

Lead Commissioning Engineer required for our client who is a successful HVAC Manufacturer which operates across 65 countries. They are looking for a Lead Commissioning Engineer to join their team due to expansion within their Data Centre Delivery Team.

The Lead Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for carrying out and supervising a small site-based team of engineers and operatives to ensure all Commissioning activities are carried out and work closely with the Control & Commissioning Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Carrying out the Air Handling Unit (AHU) commissioning tasks according to the established script.
2. Supervising site team to comply with the health and safety measures required for each site activity.
3. Working closely with the Project Manager to deliver the Commissioning Programme in the agreed timeframe and budget.

This role may involve travel abroad to various Data Centres across Europe. Additional travel to the company's factory in Germany will be required.

Lead Commissioning Engineer Job Requirements:

1. Will need to have electrical qualifications 18th edition.
2. Hold F-gas certification.
3. Must understand the principles of airflow and take measurements, i.e. electricity, pressure, temperature, humidity.
4. Demonstrable experience of HVAC and MODBUS systems.
5. Must possess good problem-solving skills, especially with mechanical, electrical and control systems.
6. Experience and knowledge of Data Centres is highly desirable as they will know the nature of the ASHRAE Commissioning L1-L5 stages.
7. Hold a current and valid CSCS, PASMA/IPAF.
8. Holds a current SSSTS or SMSTS card, but not essential.
9. Will be able to commute NW10 daily with working hours between 7:30-4.

Lead Commissioning Engineer Salary & Benefits:

1. Salary of £55k based on experience.
