Job summary

Fawkes & Reece, a renowned tier 1 main contractor near Reading, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead multi-project commercial activity across pre-construction and live sites. You will oversee bidding, CVRs, contract disputes, and build a high-performing commercial team while cultivating strong client relationships.

Robust experience in JCT/NEC contracts and framework projects is essential to succeed in this role. The position offers further growth opportunities and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proven track record of overseeing multiple projects
• Strong understanding of JCT and NEC forms of contract
• Framework experience beneficial
• Experience managing and developing teams
• Must live within commutable distance to Reading
• Must have the full right to work in the UK and be happy to undergo SC Clearance should your role require it

Responsibilities

• Heavy involvement in bidding / work-winning
• Overseeing CVRs and reporting upstream
• Involvement with any contractual disputes
• Management and developing of commercial team including appraisals
• Building and maintaining strong client relationships
