About the role:

This is a rare and exciting opportunity to play both a hands-on and strategic role as Lead Commercial Gas Engineer, combining your technical ability with leadership responsibility. As Lead Commercial Gas Engineer, you'll take ownership of this exciting new division from day one. You'll combine your technical expertise with leadership skills to deliver exceptional service while building a capable, high-performing team. Working closely with company directors, you'll help shape operational standards, ensure safety compliance, and drive growth.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Installing, maintaining, and servicing commercial heating systems and catering gas equipment
• Leading and mentoring junior engineers as the team develops
• Assisting in the design and implementation of procedures, standards, and safety protocols
• Supporting the development of new service offerings and growing the client portfolio
• Maintaining a strong focus on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction

As the successful Lead Commercial Gas Engineer you will hold commercial gas qualifications such as COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1 (or equivalent), along with experience in commercial catering gas systems (COMCAT 1-5 preferred).
