About the role

Lead Commercial Gas Engineer with experience and ambition to own a brand-new division and help shape its success. You will play both a hands‑on and strategic role, launching the division, establishing high service standards, and growing the client base across the region. You will take ownership from day one, combine technical expertise with leadership skills, and work closely with company directors to shape operational standards, ensure safety compliance and drive growth.

Key duties and responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and servicing commercial heating systems and catering gas equipment
• Leading and mentoring junior engineers as the team develops
• Assisting in the design and implementation of procedures, standards, and safety protocols
• Supporting the development of new service offerings and growing the client portfolio
• Maintaining a strong focus on quality, compliance, and customer satisfaction

About you

You are a confident and ambitious engineer ready to take the next step into leadership. With a strong technical background and the ability to work independently and collaboratively, you pride yourself on workmanship and commitment to excellent customer service. You hold commercial gas qualifications such as COCN1, CODNCO1, ICPN1, TPCP1A, CDGA1 (or equivalent) and have experience in commercial catering gas systems (COMCAT 1‑5 preferred). You are proactive, safety‑focused, and eager to build an effective service department from the ground up.
