About the role

As a Lead Customer Collections Specialist, you will:

  • Make outbound and take inbound calls to assist customers with their payment plans.
  • Supervise and train a team of Collection Specialists.
  • Handle technical queries and participate in people management meetings.
  • Support the Collections Team Leader with resource planning and team management.

About you

We are looking for outstanding individuals with experience of working in collections, although we are open to transferable experience in other environments or with other types of debt recovery.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Experience in collections or debt recovery, or relevant transferable experience.
  • Strong IT literacy, numeracy, and communication skills.
  • Keen attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to build rapport.
  • Enjoyment in making autonomous decisions and interacting with diverse individuals.
  • Previous experience in a debt recovery/collections environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
