Job summary

The Scottish Public Pensions Agency (SPPA) invites applications for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer based at our Tweedbank office. You will lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of cloud infrastructure across Azure and related platforms, with a focus on scalable, secure solutions and governance.

Working with colleagues, suppliers and partners, you will drive automation using Terraform and Python, support IaC, contribute to IT Change Boards, and resolve incidents to improve

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing and managing cloud infra on Azure.
• Strong scripting and IaC skills (Terraform, Python).
• Experience with security controls and governance in cloud environments.
• Knowledge of Linux and integration with other cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, implementation and ongoing management of cloud infrastructure across Azure and related platforms.
• Drive development of scalable, secure solutions with governance and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with colleagues, suppliers and partners to deliver reliable cloud services.
• Own IaC deployments using Terraform and support scripting with Python.
