Lead Cloud Engineer

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

Location: Surrey, Bristol, Glasgow (Hybrid)

I'm currently working with a technical consultancy with locations across the UK, including Surrey, Bristol & Glasgow, who are looking for someone with strong knowledge of AWS cloud, software engineering, and leadership experience to join as a Lead Cloud Engineer. The successful applicant will join a well-established team to lead and supervise a small team, be involved in the sales/bid writing process, and lead on cloud-based projects.

As the Lead Cloud Engineer, you will lead in designing cloud solutions within AWS with the software engineering & cloud teams, serving as the subject matter expert for AWS cloud.

Skills required for the Lead Cloud Engineer are:

• Strong experience with the AWS cloud environment
• Knowledge of & experience with software engineering (any)
• Experience/exposure to bid writing
• Management experience
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with senior stakeholders
• Hold security clearance or be eligible to obtain security clearance
