Job summary

Outcomes First Group is seeking a Lead Clinician to supervise a multidisciplinary team and deliver bespoke assessments for 11–19 year olds with autism, SEMH and neurodivergence. The role blends clinical leadership with hands-on caseload management within a school-based service.

You will collaborate with SLT and the Regional Clinical Lead, shaping clinical practice and pursuing service development while upholding safeguarding and pupil-centered outcomes. A driving licence is essential.

Qualifications

  • Essential: Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
  • Experience in Clinical Leadership and Management.
  • A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body.
  • Registration and membership of a professional body (e.g. BPS).
  • Experience with autistic individuals or those with complex needs.
  • Clear and concise report writing for clinical and research activities.
  • Experience providing supervision and supporting a therapy team.
  • Ability to work independently and within a growing clinical service.
  • Experience of multi-professional work within the designated specialty (preferred).

Job description

We're looking for an enthusiastic Lead Clinician ready to grow and thrive in a collaborative, child-centred environment. You'll be working with children and young people ages 11-19 with a range of needs, collaborating closely with education and clinical colleagues to support engagement and meaningful outcomes. The postholder will work collaboratively with both the school's Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Working collaboratively with the team, the postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plans for our students who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus in this role, target led, via the OFG 'all', 'group' and 'individual' clinical ways of working, embedded into our clinical practice. They will also be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team and leading on the service development of the clinical school-based service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.   • Degree qualification in Psychotherapy (minimum level 7) / Speech and Language Therapy
  • Experience in Clinical Leadership and Management
  • A Registered Practitioner with the HCPC or other approved governing body
  • Valid and up to date professional Registration & membership of professional body e.g. BPS
  • Experience within the specialist client group; working with autistic individuals and/or those with complex needs.
  • Clear and concise report writing relating to clinical and research activities

  • Experience of multi-professional work with teams or services within the designated specialty preferred
