Job summary

Outcomes First Group seeks a Lead Clinician at Fieldstone School in Devon to manage the in-house Clinical Team and contribute to therapy caseloads. The role collaborates with the SLT and Regional Clinical Lead to deliver bespoke assessments and intervention plans for pupils with autism, trauma, SEMH, and complex needs.

The position supports growth in a multidisciplinary education setting, with a commitment to safeguarding, professional development, and service improvement within Fieldstone

Qualifications

  • BSc Occupational Therapy, BSc Speech and Language Therapy, Doctorate in Psychology (level 7 or above) or equivalent psychotherapist qualification.
  • Registered Practitioner with HCPC or equivalent governing body.
  • Active professional registration and membership of a professional body (e.g. BPS).
  • Experience with autistic individuals and/or complex needs; report writing experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the in-house Clinical Team at Fieldstone School and collaborate with SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.
  • Split duties between clinical leadership and therapy caseload to deliver bespoke assessments and interventions.
  • Coordinate line management of the onsite clinical team and drive service development for the school-based clinical service.
  • Deliver assessment and intervention plans tailored to EHCP needs and ensure safeguarding and pupil outcomes are prioritised.

We are looking for a Lead Clinician to manage our in-house Clinical Team at Fieldstone School. The postholder will work collaboratively with both the school’s Senior Leadership Team (SLT) and the Regional Clinical Lead. The role will be split between clinically leading the team and holding a therapy caseload. Working collaboratively with the team, the postholder will deliver bespoke assessment and intervention plansfor our students who may present with complex profiles of need as a result of autism and other types of neurodivergence, developmental trauma and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs. Meeting the needs of EHCP plans will be a primary focus in this role, target led, via the OFG ‘all’, ‘group’ and ‘individual’ clinical ways of working, embedded into our clinical practice. They will also be responsible for coordinating the line management of the members of the onsite clinical team and leading on the service development of the clinical school-based service, alongside the school SLT and Regional Clinical Lead.

Location: Fieldstone School – Devon TQ13 7EP – Fieldstone School forms part of our Acorn Educations brand, and is an independent specialist day school, supporting children and young people aged 5 – 16
