Job summary

A community mental health provider in Redruth is seeking a Clinical Psychologist to lead a support service for children with learning disabilities. Qualifications

• Experience as a psychologist working with children in clinical or community settings.
• Experience working with young children with severe emotional/behavioural difficulties.
• Experience exercising full clinical responsibility for client’s psychological care.

Responsibilities

• Lead a community support service for children and young people with moderate to severe learning disabilities.
• Consult with local CAMHS teams and partners, delivering individual and family psychological assessments and interventions.

Skills

Training preparation and delivery to a wide range of staff groups

Provision of consultation to other professional and non‑professional groups

Additional training in specialised areas of psychological practice

Education

Post‑graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology

Current HCPC registration

Evidence of continuing professional development
