Hours: 40 hours - 4 or 5 day week plus 1 in 5 weekends OOH (with time off in lieu) and 1 night per week

The teamGreenside Veterinary Practice is based in St Boswells with a friendly, enthusiastic, dedicated team. This is a mixed practice with a solid farm base and an ever-expanding companion animal component, as well as the UK’s leading stem cell, regenerative medicine, and rehabilitation clinic, which accepts referral cases from all over the UK. A purpose-built large animal unit, and a referral unit has recently been completed and include a hydrotherapy treadmill and qualified veterinary physiotherapists in their team.
Hawick Veterinary Practice is a long-established and successful mixed practice that prides itself on its enthusiasm, forward-thinking mindset, and always looking for new ways to embrace both the heritage of a well-established practice and the ambition to keep evolving within the veterinary field. Hawick is a purpose-built, RCVS-accredited practice and proud holder of the Bronze iiE Sustainability award. The practice provides excellent care for small animals, farm animals in the rural town, Roxburghshire. The practice has received significant investment recently, enabling the development of modern facilities and an expansion of services, all designed to support a high-quality progressive working environment where the team can thrive.
What we are looking for- RCVS registered Veterinary Surgeon
- Experience with practice leadership and the delivery of exceptional clinical care
- Excellent communication skills and a strong desire to engage and inspire through collaboration, together with a client-focused ethos
- Confidence in performing clinical work in the Small Animal department
