Lead Cleaner / Cleaning Supervisor - Preston + Surrounding Areas | Competitive Pay + Overtime (earn up to £38k) + Company Van

Russell Taylor group are currently seeking a Lead Cleaner / Cleaning Supervisor for work in the Lancashire (and surrounding) area, on behalf of a leading facilities management contractor. If you're hands-on, reliable, and confident leading teams in fast-paced environments, this role offers the opportunity to take ownership on-site and make a real impact.

About the Role

As a Lead Cleaner / Cleaning Supervisor, you\'ll respond to urgent and planned jobs, lead on-site teams, and ensure all cleaning work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. Flexibility is key, with regular out-of-hours and weekend cover (all paid at enhanced / bonus rates).

Responsibilities
  • Rapid response to reactive and emergency cleaning jobs, including the occasional evening and weekends
  • Lead and support technicians and agency staff on-site
  • Deliver cleaning, waste, and site services in line with safety and quality standards
  • Log all job details and updates accurately using company tablets
  • Conduct vehicle safety checks and ensure vans are clean and stocked
  • Uphold Health & Safety, quality, and compliance standards at all times
What We're Looking For
  • Ideally have experience in both reactive and planned cleaning works
  • Strong leadership and team coordination skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and strong time management
  • Full UK driving licence (essential)
  • Flexible approach to shifts and urgent job assignments
