Job summary

Chadwick Nott in Cardiff seeks an experienced Senior Competition Litigation Lawyer to establish and lead a new claimant-side practice. You will own the development of a market-leading litigation platform with backing and growth support, while managing high-value disputes and complex claims.

The role offers seniority as Senior Associate, Legal Director or Salaried Partner, with a clear pathway to shape the practice's future direction and a flexible, hybrid working arrangement.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in competition litigation.
• Strong understanding of competition damages claims and collective proceedings.
• Commercially minded with an entrepreneurial approach and readiness to grow a new practice.
• Proven business development experience would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of a dedicated claimant-side competition litigation workstream.
• Focus on high-profile and complex matters including competition damages claims.
• Work with Counsel, economists, funders and class representatives to drive cases from inception through to resolution.
• Build infrastructure and processes to develop a market-leading practice.
