Job summary

Access Talent Group, on behalf of a leading Civil Engineering contractor, seeks an experienced Project Manager for a mixed-use Guildford development with greenfield and brownfield elements. The project runs until summer 2026 and requires strong NEC contract expertise and leadership.

You will lead planning, execution and delivery, oversee safety, quality and efficiency, and manage multidisciplinary teams to ensure on-time, on-budget completion in a complex environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager on civil engineering projects, with groundwork/earthwork focus.
• Strong understanding of NEC contracts and contract administration.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and ensuring safety, quality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Oversee the mixed-use Guildford development delivery.
• Contract Management: Manage NEC contracts, ensure compliance and resolve issues.
• Team Management: Build, lead and motivate project teams.
• Budget & Schedule Control: Deliver on time and within budget.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Communicate with clients, subcontractors and stakeholders.
• Health & Safety: Promote a culture of safety on-site.
