Job summary

A leading engineering firm in the UK is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead and deliver high-quality infrastructure design. The role requires confidence in Civil 3D and AutoCAD, along with a strong background in drainage and utilities. The successful candidate will manage project teams and mentor junior engineers. Qualifications

• Chartered or nearing Chartership (ICE/CIHT/IHE etc.).
• Strong experience in drainage, earthworks, SUDS, pavements and utilities.
• Knowledge of S38, S278, S104 and UK adoption standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver infrastructure design packages.
• Manage small project teams and support multidisciplinary delivery.
• Mentor engineers, graduates and apprentices.

Skills

Proficiency in Civil 3D

Proficiency in AutoCAD

Experience in drainage, earthworks, SUDS

Understanding of British Standards

Education

HNC/HND or Degree in Civil Engineering

Chartered or nearing Chartership

Tools

Microdrainage/Infodrainage

Revit

Bentley MicroStation
