RGB Recruitment is seeking an Associate Civil Engineer to join the Civils & Infrastructure team in Manchester. The role focuses on drainage-driven infrastructure design and leading a team of engineers to deliver projects.

You will mentor staff, manage resources, and maintain client relationships while ensuring projects are delivered to high technical standards. A clear path for professional development is offered.

Qualifications

• Proven experience leading a Civil Engineering team.
• Strong background in civil infrastructure design, particularly drainage.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
• Experience using MicroDrainage.
• Experience using AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Deliver multiple civil engineering projects on time and within budget.
• Lead design of highways and drainage schemes with emphasis on drainage.
• Plan and coordinate resources across projects.
• Attend resource planning meetings and contribute to scheduling.
• Assist in fee management and client negotiations.
• Review timesheets and annual leave requests.
• Conduct team meetings, appraisals and performance reviews.
• Support the professional development of your team.
