Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Civil Engineer to join a long-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Bristol. You will deliver drainage design, flood risk assessments and infrastructure projects while helping to establish and grow a new civil engineering team.

The role offers £55,000 - £70,000 plus paid overtime, 33 days holiday, flexible hours, and paid professional memberships, with clear progression to lead a team as the Bristol office expands.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering drainage design, flood risk assessments and development infrastructure.
• Ability to lead and mentor junior engineers as the Bristol team grows.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering projects across commercial, residential and infrastructure developments.
• Produce drainage designs, drainage strategies and flood risk assessments.
• Liaise with clients, local authorities and external stakeholders.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and design information.
• Work on Section 38 and Section 278 agreements.
• Mentor junior engineers as the Bristol team expands.
• Opportunity to build and lead a growing civil engineering team.
• Office, site and client-based role with flexibility after probation.
