Job Opportunity: Lead Civil Engineer at CCL Global

CCL Global is recruiting in Bristol for a Lead Civil Engineer to join the HPC Project (Hinkley Point C) team, working in JDO offices and on-site at Hinkley Point C. This project is a key component of the UK’s future energy strategy, representing the first of the UK’s next-generation nuclear power stations. The project involves high-profile, complex engineering activities delivered by multi-disciplinary teams.

Key Duties

1. Support a dedicated transverse team within the Civil group, providing technical expertise across civil building design teams for the Nuclear Island of the HPC Project.
2. Perform activities on the HPC site and in JDO offices, within a multidisciplinary environment emphasizing safety, schedule adherence, and nuclear safety standards.
3. Analyze, verify, and ensure the consistency of input data.
4. Modify reinforced concrete structure designs in compliance with ETCC and relevant codes.
5. Maintain client QA procedures in delivering the civil design.
6. Collaborate and review work with designers during the preparation stages.
