As a Vice President at JPMorgan Chase within the International Consumer Bank, you will play a crucial role in delivering an outstanding banking experience to our customers. You will work collaboratively as part of a diverse, inclusive, and geographically distributed team. We seek individuals with a curious mindset and a keen interest in new technology. Our engineers are solution-oriented, interested in the financial sector, and focused on addressing customer needs. Our team focuses on building iOS and Android mobile applications, emphasizing design, architecture, maintenance of build and infrastructure solutions, and managing the entire SDLC, liaising with cross-functional teams to drive the future of our development tools.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build scalable solutions that avoid single points of failure.
  2. Facilitate cross-team collaboration to implement reliable build and infrastructure tools.
  3. Design software that is understandable, testable, and adaptable.
  4. Proactively identify and resolve issues with build infrastructure to ensure resilience.
  5. Implement development requirements in CI tooling using Jenkins declarative pipelines.
  6. Define KPIs, generate metrics, and drive improvements in system efficiency and reliability.
  7. Maintain the Cloudbees-based CI framework used by the Front End development team, utilizing AWS, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  8. Enhance resiliency and developer experience in release management frameworks.
  9. Conduct testing to ensure robustness of build infrastructure tools.
  10. Lead migration of SCM/CI tooling to GitHub and Actions.
  11. Support products throughout their lifecycle, including production and incident management.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities & Skills
  • Formal training or certification in continuous integration concepts and advanced experience.
  • Experience managing CI and automation toolchains.
  • Hands-on experience with CI system development, maintenance, and administration.
  • Proficiency with declarative pipelines and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience coding and debugging with Bash, Python, or similar scripting languages.
  • Understanding of AWS build clusters, AMI images, EC2, and autoscaling.
  • Experience migrating SCM and CI tooling to GitHub and Actions.
  • Knowledge of build systems like Make, CMake, Maven, Xcode, Swift.
  • Focus on addressing customer needs promptly, even for repetitive tasks.
  • Supporting development teams using Linux and Mac environments.
  • Excellent English communication skills.
Additional Qualifications & Skills
  • Ability to assess risks in build toolchains and influence onboarding decisions.
  • Awareness of build tools for Android, iOS, and React development.
  • Experience with Jenkins or Cloudbees CI systems.
  • Supporting build systems using TypeScript.
  • Experience with release management and automation-driven improvements.
