Unique Care Group is seeking a compassionate Children’s Residential Support Worker / Team Leader to join our Shrewsbury team. You will provide person-centred care to children and young people with autism, SEND, and complex needs, promoting independence and safety.

Applicant must hold a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare and a full UK driving licence. We offer guaranteed hours, ongoing training and real career progression in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare is required.
• Must hold a full, valid UK driving licence.
• Demonstrated compassion, reliability and dedication in caring roles.
• Experience in leadership or coordinating a team is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to children and young people with autism, SEND, learning disabilities and complex needs.
• Help residents feel safe, develop independence and live fulfilling lives.
• Deliver planned activities and support aligned with care plans and safeguarding policies.
• Contribute to a positive, collaborative residential care team and participate in sleep-in duties as required.
