As part of our ambitious Families First reforms and service redesign, we’re creating a brand-new Lead Child Protection Practitioner role within our new Multi-Agency Child Protection Team (MACPT). This is a unique opportunity for an experienced child protection professional to be at the forefront of transformation, acting as a centre of excellence and knowledge hub for child protection practice across the workforce.
We’re looking for a confident and influential practitioner with child protection expertise, strong decision-making skills, and a passion for developing others. You’ll lead on complex child protection decision‑manding, provide expert advice and guidance to practitioners and partners, and help drive consistently high standards of safeguarding practice that keep children at the heart of every decision.
