Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Head Chef to lead a high-volume catering operation at Cheetham's School of Music in Manchester. You will manage menus, service delivery, and team performance across multiple service areas for up to 400 people.

Your leadership will ensure fresh, high-quality food from scratch, efficient operations, and strong client partnerships. Competitive salary and full training are offered.

Qualifications

• Experienced Chef in busy high-volume catering
• Strong leadership and communication
• Flexible to work across shifts and service times
• Direct management of kitchen brigade/chefs
• NVQ level 2 Food Production or equivalent
• Intermediate Food Hygiene certificate

Responsibilities

• Prepare and present fresh food from scratch to standard
• Oversee and coordinate core culinary activities across locations
• Manage service delivery to meet performance, quality and financial targets
• Ensure value for money via supply chain management and purchasing
• Lead and develop kitchen staff and manage performance
• Identify opportunities for organic growth and new business development
