Brainkind is seeking a part-time Chef to join the Glasgow team at Graham Anderson House. You will prepare meals to Brainkind standards and supervise staff in the Head Chef's absence.

The role requires Level 2 Food Hygiene, catering qualifications, and experience in kitchens, with ability to cater for large groups and varied dietary needs. Salary £14.60 per hour, 27 hours weekly, includes every other weekend.

Qualifikationen

• Level 2 Food Hygiene or higher.
• NVQ or SVQ Level 2 General Catering or equivalent.
• Previous experience of working in kitchens.
• Demonstrable skills in cooking for large groups and diverse diets.
• Knowledge of regulations (COSHH, Health & Safety, HACCP).
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Effective communication with service users.
• Competent IT skills.

Aufgaben

• Prepare and cook meals to Brainkind standards.
• Supervise catering staff in the Head Chef's absence.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene.
• Ensure cleaning and equipment maintenance records are kept.
• Report equipment faults and maintenance needs.
