Job summary

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current NMC registration (Adult)
• Commitment to ongoing professional development
• Experience managing clinical environments within BSQR and GMP
• Valid UK driving licence

Responsibilities

• Lead donor-facing teams to ensure a safe, effective and positive donation experience.
• Provide visible clinical leadership and support teams to achieve objectives.
• Act as expert in donor eligibility, donor care and adverse donation events.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and governance processes.
• Monitor performance, analyze data and support KPIs.
• Investigate incidents and drive corrective actions with learning.
• Coach, mentor and develop staff with ongoing competency assessments.
• Promote service improvements and contribute to audit and innovation activities.
• Manage session resources, stock, equipment and workforce deployment.
• deputise for Senior Sister/Senior Charge Nurse when required.
