Job summary

Black Kite Studios in London is seeking a Lead CG Artist to deliver creative excellence from pitch to delivery, guiding the CG pipeline across high-end projects. You will mentor teams, collaborate with VFX Supervisors and Producers, and contribute to innovative workflows while maintaining on-time, on-budget delivery.

Qualifications

Experience delivering outstanding VFX across commercials, TV and/or film.
Experience leading or supervising teams of CG artists.
Solid understanding of the full VFX pipeline.
Production experience with Houdini and/or Maya and Arnold or other industry renderers.
Understanding of 2D workflows and working knowledge of Nuke.
Strong problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
Team player with a positive, can-do attitude and clear communication.
Ambition to deliver excellence and continuously learn.
Scripting knowledge would be a plus; interest in emerging CG tech is a plus.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with VFX Supervisors to develop and implement creative and technical solutions for CG across VFX projects.
Create outstanding creative work.
Lead teams of CG artists to success across high-end projects.
Work with Production to pitch for and win projects and develop client relationships.
Mentor our creative talent and provide constructive feedback.
