Job summary

LDB Carpentry & Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter for projects in Bristol and Bath. You will oversee 1st and 2nd fix carpentry, lead a team of carpenters and subcontractors, and mentor apprentices on site to ensure high-quality workmanship.

The role emphasizes reading technical drawings, maintaining safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. A full UK driving licence is preferred.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Lead Carpenter to join our team. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in high-quality workmanship and can confidently lead a team on-site. You will be responsible for overseeing carpentry projects from start to finish, ensuring all work is completed to a high standard, on time, and within budget, while also supporting the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out and oversee all aspects of 1st and 2nd fix carpentry
• Lead, manage, and motivate a team of carpenters and subcontractors
