Job summary

Abbeygate Rest Home is seeking a Senior Carer to provide high-quality, person-centred care and help run the care team. You will support residents with their care needs, administer and record medications, update care plans, and ensure care is delivered safely and in line with policies.

You will lead by example, promote dignity and independence, and work closely with families and healthcare professionals to uphold the highest standard of care.

Qualifications

• Previous care experience is essential.
• Experience in a senior or supervisory role preferred.
• Compassionate, reliable and confident in leading a team.

• Provide person-centred care to residents.
• Administer and record medications according to care plans.
• Update and maintain individual care plans and records.
• Supervise and support care staff to ensure quality of care.
