Job summary
LHCC Group in East London is seeking an experienced Senior Carer to assist the Registered Manager with daily operations across residential and supported living mental health services. You will lead shifts, supervise care staff, and ensure high standards of person-centred care and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma or equivalent qualification is desirable.
- Previous senior care or support experience within residential, supported living or mental health services is required or desirable.
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and safeguarding principles.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support care staff during shifts.
- Lead shifts and ensure high-quality, person-centred care.
- Support the Registered Manager with day-to-day running of the service.
- Assist with care planning, risk assessments and medication administration.
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards, safeguarding and organisational policies.
- Mentor and support junior staff and new starters.
- Promote independence, dignity and wellbeing for people with mental health support needs.
