Job summary

PrimeLife Ltd in Scunthorpe is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join Phoenix Park Care Village. You will lead and support the care team to deliver high-quality, dignified care to residents across the home, with a focus on independence and wellbeing.

This role offers a 7-day rotating schedule with regular shifts. Benefits include fully funded DBS, comprehensive holiday pay, and a refer-a-friend scheme up to £250, along with career progression opportunities within our Quality Matters team.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a Care Assistant or Support Worker is essential.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is not required as full training is provided.
• Candidates should be patient, understanding and respectful of residents’ abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead, manage and support the care team to ensure high quality of care and service for all residents.
• Ensure care plans are regularly reviewed and care is planned, implemented and evaluated.
• Engage with residents with dignity and respect for communication differences.
• Administer and record medications as prescribed with accurate monitoring.
• Preserve residents’ dignity and independence.
• Encourage residents to achieve the highest possible quality of life.
• Encourage participation in daily living discussions.
• Assist with personal care where necessary.
