Job summary

Care UK is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead shifts, manage resident care plans, and work closely with families and healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality care.

You will administer medications, carry out risk assessments, and support residents to stay active and independent, while collaborating with the leadership team to develop services and maintain a warm, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and supervising a care team.
• Ability to create and implement care plans with residents and families.
• Willingness to undertake medication administration training if required.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising your shift.
• Case managing residents and liaising with families, healthcare professionals and other stakeholders to ensure that the best care plans are created and delivered.
• Administering and recording medication
• Carrying out risk assessments
• Working alongside care assistants to support residents with daily needs, ensuring residents remain as active and independent as possible
• Working closely with the leadership team to develop services
• Provide a fun, inclusive, and professional approach at all times
