Medway NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Chief Cardiac Physiologist to lead pacing device services and expert clinical analysis. The role includes participation in complex device clinics and Cath Lab procedures, with emphasis on independent practice and advanced diagnostics.

The post requires BHRS/RCCP accreditation or equivalent, plus a minimum of three years' qualified physiologist experience within cardiac physiology. Benefits include flexible working where possible within an ambitious Trust.

Competenze

• BHRS accreditation or equivalent.
• RCCP or equivalent certification.
• ILS and ASCST certifications preferred.
• Minimum 3 years as a qualified physiologist.

Mansioni

• Ability to perform independently in pacing clinics and BHRS or equivalent accredited.
• Rotate through the cath lab and pacing clinics and be able to work independently in these areas.
• Undertake all basic investigations to diagnose heart disease, and produce factual reports as required
• Make judgements on the severity of results, ensuring medical staff are informed immediately of any life threatening or urgent investigation results
• Undertake the range of highly complex investigations and produce full technical analysis and interpretation of results
