Bradford is expanding it's imaging department and are looking for new team members to join us. We are looking for someone with a passion for cardiac science who can lead the imaging service.
We provide a wide range of complex cardiac and respiratory investigations including cardiac and metabolic stress testing, TTE, TOE and stress echocardiography. Bradford has a diverse population and the range of pathology makes for an interesting and challenging caseload. There is a significant paediatric echo service which could be expanded if the post holder has an interest in CHD. We are about to complete a large dedicated Cardiology IT system project, pulling together all the clinical and admin systems across the department. We have just undertaken a UKAS benchmarking exercise which found our services to be safe with areas of excellent care, and staff demonstrating good clinical knowledge and commitment to providing the best patient care possible. We are now moving towards submitting our application to attain IQiPS accreditation.
This is a fantastic opportunity for the successful candidate to engage in service development and re-design, site management, budgetary management, and staff management as delegated by the head of service, all within a supportive and nurturing environment.

This post is suited to a Registered Clinical Scientist however consideration will be given to those currently part way through the AHCS equivalence process.
