A leading healthcare organization in London seeks an experienced pharmacist to join the Cancer Pharmacy team. You will provide clinical services to oncology departments, supervise staff, and participate in ward rounds. Candidates should have a Master's in Pharmacy, three years of hospital pharmacy experience, and a commitment to quality patient care. This is a full-time permanent position offering a salary of £64,156 to £71,148 per year.
The postholder will be an important member of the Trust's Cancer Pharmacy team, providing and developing a comprehensive service to the Cancer directorate.
Responsibilities include the provision of a clinical ward pharmacy service to the cancer wards, supporting oncology outpatient clinics, verification of systemic anti-cancer therapy (SACT) prescriptions, independent prescribing, managing drug funding applications and clinical support to clinicians and other health care professionals. The role also includes line management of rotational staff. The post-holder will also be involved with the training of doctors, nurses and pharmacists in the safe use, screening and prescribing of SACT.
